A NEW ARTIST JOINED US IN JULY 2008: TONY aka FOOTKNOTS.
Though he is new to the site, he is not actually a 'new artist'. Below is his own words
(edited) to explain more about him:
" I signed 3 different ways on my artworks, but
"Footknots" was the moniker I used during the brief time I was semi successful
as an artist. I guess you could say I'm 50 something and coming out of
"forced" retirement. As to the art I'll be sending you, it will be all old
stuff for a while. I have no definitive cartoonist style although I love the kind of
stuff you and people like Dave Annis turn out so when I actually do start producing new
work I might try to develop one of my own. But for now it's a realistic reproduction
based on a picture I like. Quite a bit from old HOM mags but sometimes I just use a
face and actually free hand it from there.
Well, I guess that gives you what you need for my Guest Gallery info: name, age,
nom de pencil, style realistic but subject to change possibly in the future, and all old
stuff (15-20 years) for now.
