THE TAKING OF MARTINA & JANET WELLESLEY
BY
JANET CAGE aka JENNI
The Taking of Martina and Janet Wellesley
Martina came awake slowly, and it was difficult for
her to focus her eyes. She had been out late, and had
been drinking, but she felt really weird, and she
wondered why her limbs were so sluggish. She blinked
rapidly, but her focus was still blurry. She was also
hurting, with a sharp pain in one of her forearms. She
tried to sit up, and found that she couldn't. There
was something . . .holding onto her arms and legs,
like netting of some sort. She continued to pull
against whatever it was, and although she could
stretch her bonds, she could not break them. She was
puzzled, and beginning to be really scared. She tried
to cry out. But she found that she could not make a
sound. There was something in her mouth, something
with a strange texture. She realized that she was in
some kind of trouble, that this wasn't normal. Her
vision was starting to clear a bit, and as she looked
wildly about her, she could see blurry forms racing
back and forth about her, and even above her, on the
ceiling. What could that possibly be, she thought. She
could only breathe through her nose, and she was soon
winded from the brief struggle she had put up. She
realized that someone or something had tied her down
to her bed. Her vision was beginning to clear, and she
thought she saw a large spider perched on the end of
her bed. That was crazy, she thought, but she was
getting really hysterical now, and she started to cry
as the spider or whatever it was began to crawl
towards her, between her legs. It moved slowly, and as
it climbed her thighs she realized that the body of it
had to be at least a foot and a half in diameter. She
yanked wildly at the webbing that secured her to her
bed, but it was no use. The thing climbed on top of
her, and she could see its jaws closing and opening.
She could not scream, but she began to buck against
what she knew now to be spider webbing of some sort.
But she could not free herself. Her wrists had been
secured down by her hips, and although she could move
her fingers, she could not tear any of the strands of
webbing away. As she struggled, she felt other spiders
of the same size moving about her, and she was aware
of a chittering sound that they were making.
Suddenly she felt pulled forward and to the side; the
spiders were using long tethers of webbing to move her
up. She was pulled into a seated position at the side
of her bed. She could see pretty well now, and in the
mirror she saw her reflection. She had been gagged
with a ball of thick greyish strands, that was secured
with loops of the stuff that had been passed around
her throat. She shook with terror to see how she had
been secured. The webs were all about her body, and
she saw that there was no way that she would be able
to escape whatever was to come.
As she twisted in vain against the webbing, spiders
continued to work on her bondage. Several spiders were
spinning a long leash from her neck to the doorknob of
her bedroon, passing threads back and forth along the
line until an inch thick cable of thread had been
made. Then one of the spiders took hold of the end
attached to the doorknob and cut it loose. It wrapped
the end of the silk cable around a hornlike prominence
on the back of one of the larger spiders, which stood
on its eight huge legs patiently, filling the doorway
to her bedroom.
Then Jenni felt a tug on the leash; the spider was
moving, and she knew that she was supposed to follow.
She got up on shaky legs that had been hobbled with
thread, and moved forward a few steps, then collapsed.
Spiders instanly gathered around her, and she felt
sharp pain as they bit at her legs and arms. She
struggled wildly, and managed to regain her feet. The
spiders moved away from her, and she understood that
she was going to be taken somewhere, that she had to
obey and walk, or she was going to be bitten again
until she obeyed. These intelligent spiders had some
use in mind for her, she realized, and she felt terror
as she was pulled through the hall of her house
towards the front door.
She was taken out of her home, which she did not ever
expect to see again. One spider pulled her from the
front, and another had spun a leash that now trailed
behind her, attached to the body of another of the
giant spiders. She was flanked on either side by more
spiders, perhaps seven or eight of the large
creatures. She cried silently, her chest heaving,
straining against the silk imprisoning her chest,
making it hard to breathe. She was pulled across the
lawn towards the woods. She managed to turn around
once as she heard a cry.
Her heart sank as she saw her sister running after
her. Martina could do nothing but wrench at her bonds
as most of the spiders escorting her ran back to
subdue her sister. The spiders were upon her in
seconds, and Martina stood in horror as the giant
spiders rushed about the struggling body of her sister
Janet, tying her as they had tied herself. Her sister
had not been gagged with a thread ball yet, and she
heard the shrill cries of her sister as she too was
enslaved by the spiders. Then Martina was pulled
forward again, entering the forest. She could hear her
sister behind her, for a few moments, until she fell
silent, and Martina knew that the spiders had gagged
her too for her abduction. Martina cried silently as
she and her sister were pulled deep into the forest,
captives of the spiders. Were they going to eat her?
Or did they have something else intended for her and
her sister? She expected that she and her sister would
not have long to live, and what lives they were to
have would be filled with pain, and she wept bitter
tears as the spiders dragged their new captives to THEIR LAIR...
